Frequently Asked Questions

Not at the present time. I’m working on a new series that I hope to have completed soon. When finished, I’ll be accepting commissions again on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please get in touch and let me know a bit more about your project and needs, and I can send you a proposal and schedule.

Commissions require 50% down, 25% on approval of the piece, and the final balance to be paid before the package is shipped.

I always want my work to be accessible to everyone who wants it, so if you wish to set up a payment program, let’s talk! I’m happy to take payments and hold the piece for you.

Just fill out the contact form above so we can connect and discuss an arrangement that works for us both.

If you aren’t completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within seven days of receipt.

Just notify me that you’re doing this, then re-use the packing materials and ship the painting back in the box it was shipped in. Return shipping is at your cost – just send me the tracking information.

I will refund your money once I receive the painting back in its original condition.

I use them all! But usually I paint with water-based mediums like acrylics, gouache, water-soluble crayons, gesso, etc. I also like to use oil paints, and sometimes incorporate cold wax with them.

Accents are often made with oil crayons, charcoal, graphite, and even collage.

Substrates include: canvas, wood panels, and watercolor paper (like Arches, Fabriano, Canson, and occasionally my own hand-made paper).

99% of my paintings are finished with a UV-protective satin or matte varnish. Paintings made with cold wax are not varnished.

Due to popular demand, I am now selling prints of some of my paintings. These can be found in my ETSY shop. Each print is available in different sizes, and can be printed with a satin or matte sheen.

These are shipped by a fulfillment center and typically take 1-2 weeks for delivery.

No. Smaller works on paper (up to 8×10 inches) are typically placed in white mats and shipped in flat cardboard mailers. Works larger than 8×10 are usually shipped in cardboard tubes. Paper paintings are ready to be framed in the frame of your choice.

Canvases up to 30×30 will be mailed in cardboard boxes and are shipped ready to hang. Larger works may be shipped in a tube and are ready to be taken to a framer and stretched to your specifications.

These are my standard shipping & hanging methods. HOWEVER, they are subject to change so please don’t hesitate to ask!!
